Half term 2020

Early Years Morning

 

18th of Feb 

10am to 12.30pm

Bring your littles ones to Iver Environment Centre to explore nature and learn about birds. This drop in session is £3 per child, and includes access to all the grounds, including the mud kitchen and play area. When you want to have a break from the outdoors, come into the classroom to make a bird feeder for you to take home and hang up in your garden.

Backwoods Cooking  for 8’s and over

18th of Feb 

1pm to 4pm

In this 3 hour drop off session, learn how to cook a three course meal over a campfire. We’ll cover how to light a campfire and keep it hot so that you can cook using different equipment. Then we make lots of delicious food that you get to eat as we go along. This is a drop off event, so parents don’t need to stay. Cost is £19 per child aged 8 or over (no under 8’s).

Beautiful Birds

19th of Feb

10am to 4pm

Explore the gardens of Iver Environment Centre while learning about the birds that visit us. There will be a self-led trail where you can find out about different British birds.

At 10.30am and 2pm there will be workshops led by our educators where you can make a bird feeder to take home and become a bird to learn about different beak adaptations.

Entry is £3 per child (aged 3 and over), workshops are an additional £4 per child and can be booked in advance.

Fairies and Elves

20th of Feb

10am to 4pm

 

Get magical at Iver Environment Centre and look for the fairies and elves that live secretly in the gardens. Follow a mystical self-led trail, answering the magical questions as you go.
